Mach Salad

Makes a large salad and will keep for up to 2 weeks. You are essentially making a custard, cooling and adding the cool whip, fruit and marshmallows. Kids will think of this as a dessert.

The main ingredient in this salad is a type of pasta that's similar to acinide pepe, which is combined with sweet ingredients like sugar, pineapple juice,and whipped cream. Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup. Acini de pepe pasta (this sometimes hard to find)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 cups Water Boiling
  • 20 oz tidbit pineapple
  • 2 cups mandarin oranges
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 9 oz Cool Whip 1 container

Instructions
 

  • Boil water, pasta, and salt for 15-20 minutes (till Al Dente'). Wash / drain / cool.
  • In a saucepan thicken juices by adding flour and the eggs.
  • Cook over moderate heat until thick. Mix with fruit and pasta, withholding the marshmallows and cool whip.
  • Let set over-night in the refrigerator.
  • Next morning add: marshmallows and Cool Whip
