Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter
  • 4 tablespoon cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • pinch salt

Optional additions

  • shredded coconut add to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine butter, cocoa, sugar and milk.
  • Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
  • Remove from burner and add the remaining ingredients.
  • Drop from a spoon onto waxed paper.
  • Let cool 1 hour. {Unless you are like my husband and start after 5 minutes).
