Chicken with Mushrooms and Swiss Cheese
A family favorite. Will be one of yours too!
Ingredients
- 8-10 chicken tenderloins
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 tablespoons ground black pepper
- 2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
- 3 cups mushrooms sliced – white baby Bella or portabella
- 2 cups Swiss cheese 7-10 slices or 2 cups shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Remove thawed chicken tenderloins.
- Place all ingredients in a bowl (or Ziplock bag) and toss together.
- Place seasoned chicken tenders on a baking sheet in single layer. Use two baking sheets if necessary.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature of largest tender is 165°F.
- While chicken is baking, sauté mushrooms in oil of your choice.
- When chicken is done, top with mushrooms and cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted.
