Ingredients

  • 4 each mashed ripe bananas.
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract.
  • 2 large eggs.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar.
  • 1 cup sour cream.
  • 4 tablespoon softened butter.
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

For the brown butter frosting :

  • 2 tablespoons butter.
  • 4 cup powdered sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
  • cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheated oven to 350 degrees F and spray a jelly roll pan with cooking spray.
  • Beat sugar, sour cream, butter, and eggs using an electric mixer, add mashed bananas and pure vanilla extract.
  • Then I added flour, salt, and baking soda and blend for more than 2 minutes.
  • I spread batter evenly into pan and baked for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Meanwhile, I made the brown butter frosting, I heated butter in a large saucepan over medium heat until boiling.
  • Then I added powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla, whisked together until smooth, and poured it over the warm bars.
