Heavenly Bananas cherry juice

I had a monthly subscription to small cookbooks using mostly PillsburyTM products. One book was all about breakfasts. We tried this recipe and have loved it. I use a variety of juices and have substituted yogurt for the sour cream. We make it for breakfast, dinner side or dessert.

The picture with the recipe is made with pineapple juice, so the sour cream stays white. Here is a fun option – use maraschino cherry juice for pink. Maybe for Valentine’s Day?

Ingredients
 
 

  • cup sour cream
  • ½ tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ tablespoon juice
  • ½ tablespoon orange rind grated, optional
  • 1 each banana sliced into medallions
  • granola for topping, optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the above ingredients.
  • Decorate with available fresh fruit.

Notes

Multiply the ingredients by the number of bananas to adjust for your guest size.
