Chicken Wings – Rotisserie basket (used with sauces & rubs)

We start with frozen or partially thaw chicken wings which increases the cooking time, but allows for so much convenience.

Equipment

  • 1 Indoor or outdoor rotisserie We are using a Vortex air fryer from Instant Pot.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings Frozen or thawed. Adjust cooking time.

Instructions

  • Apply cooking spray such as PAM, to the interior of the rotisserie basket.
  • Fill the rotisserie basket 1/2 to 3/4 full of chicken, allowing room the chicken to tumble, crisping on all sides.
  • Adjust the temperature to 400 ° F. Adjust cooking time 25 to 50 min. depending on the frozen status of the wings. Insert the basket into the fryer, a start the cooking.
  • While cooking, Prepare your choice of sauce or rub. Try and true Franks's or so many other possibilities..
  • When chicken has reached your desired doneness. Remove from the basket. Then apply your chosen sauce or rub.
  • Serve.

Notes

As with other styles of chicken wings. Recommend serving with celery stalk pieces and Ranch dressing.  We do french fries in oven, microwave, or other device as well.
