Maple Glaze
Easy to make, useful across a lot of different recipes.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract or Amaretto
- 1-1 ½ cups powdered sugar plus more if needed
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt 3 Tablespoons butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in the 1/3 cup maple syrup until melted.
- Remove from the heat.
- Whisk in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, up to 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, and pinch of salt until smooth.
- Drizzle on top of your cookie, cake, cinnamon rolls , etc.
Notes
This is best used the same day. Keep covered.
