Easy to make, useful across a lot of different recipes.
Ingredients
3
tablespoons
unsalted butter
⅓
cup
maple syrup
½
teaspoon
vanilla extract
or Amaretto
1-1 ½
cups
powdered sugar
plus more if needed
Pinch
salt
Instructions
In a small saucepan, melt 3 Tablespoons butter over medium heat.
Whisk in the 1/3 cup maple syrup until melted.
Remove from the heat.
Whisk in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, up to 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, and pinch of salt until smooth.
Drizzle on top of your cookie, cake, cinnamon rolls , etc.
Notes
This is best used the same day. Keep covered.
