Ingredients
- ½ cup lime juice fresh
- 1 cup tequila silver or blanco
- ½ cup orange liquor suggest Cointreau
- 3 cups champagne 1 bottle
- lime wedges for rim
- salt for rim, or alternatively use granulated sugar
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir well.
- Run lime wedges around the rim of each champagne flute and dip the rims in coarse salt.
- Divide margaritas between flutes and garnish with lime wedges.
Notes
This is a great make-ahead drink for a crowd. If you want to make this in advance, combine all of your ingredients—minus the Champagne—into a pitcher and refrigerate. When you’re ready to serve, divide your margarita mixture into your glasses, then top with Champagne
