Scalloped Corn

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 cup corn whole kernel, drained
  • 1 each egg slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/ teaspoon mustard dry
  • ¾ cup milk

Instructions

  • Saute onion in butter until golden. Blend in flour and seasonings. cook until bubbly. remove from heat and gradually add milk. Bring to boil; boil 1 min., stirring constantly. remove from heat and add corn and egg. Pour into 1qt. baking dish. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake 20-30 min. in 350° F. oven.
