Honey Cheesecake Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups flour all purpose
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 5 to 6 tablespoons water
  • 16 ounces cream cheese 2 each, 8 0z. packages, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • cup honey
  • 4 each eggs

Instructions

  • Stir together flour, the 3 tablespoons sugar, the baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • Cut in butter or margarine till the mixture resembles crumbs.
  • Add water, a little at a time, till all is moistened.
  • Form into a ball.
  • On lightly floured surface, roll dough to fit a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Fit into pan, trim 1/2 inch beyond edge of plate, then flute edges.
  • Set aside.
  • In large mixer bowl beat cream cheese, the 1/4 cup sugar, and the cinnamon.
  • Gradually add honey, beating till smooth.
  • Add eggs, beat just till blended.
  • Pour into prepared pastry.
  • Bake in 350° F oven about 1 hour and 10 minutes or till set.
