Honey Cheesecake Pie
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups flour all purpose
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 5 to 6 tablespoons water
- 16 ounces cream cheese 2 each, 8 0z. packages, softened
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ⅔ cup honey
- 4 each eggs
Instructions
- Stir together flour, the 3 tablespoons sugar, the baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Cut in butter or margarine till the mixture resembles crumbs.
- Add water, a little at a time, till all is moistened.
- Form into a ball.
- On lightly floured surface, roll dough to fit a 9-inch pie plate.
- Fit into pan, trim 1/2 inch beyond edge of plate, then flute edges.
- Set aside.
- In large mixer bowl beat cream cheese, the 1/4 cup sugar, and the cinnamon.
- Gradually add honey, beating till smooth.
- Add eggs, beat just till blended.
- Pour into prepared pastry.
- Bake in 350° F oven about 1 hour and 10 minutes or till set.
