Ozark Pudding

An oldie but a goody.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • cup flour
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • cup apples sliced
  • ½ cup nuts

Instructions

  • Mix until creamy the egg and sugar in a bowl.
  • Sift the flour, baking power, and salt and then add to to above gradually, mixing well.
  • Add and mix in to mixture, lemon juice, apples and nuts.
  • Grease and flour pie pan. Add mixture. Bake for 30 minutes at 325° F.
