Four Cheese Pasta with Italian Sausage and Pepperoni

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Italian sausage bulk
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon seasoning, garlic pepper
  • 14 oz pizza sauce 14 oz jar
  • 7 oz macaroni 7 oz pkg cooked and drained
  • 1 ½ oz pepperoni chopped
  • 1 cup cheese four-cheese pizza blend, shredded

Instructions

  • Cook sausage, onion and green pepper until meat is browned; drain well.
  • Add Italian herb seasoning, salt, pepper, pizza sauce and macaroni, stir to combine.
  • Spoon mixture into a 2-quart round casserole; cover.
  • Cook at 350° F for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
  • Uncover, stir, and sprinkle with pepperoni and cheese after 13 minutes of cooking time.

Notes

We found it lacking in some “punch”. Suggesting changing to the spicy Italian sausage or add additional “spicy” spices.
