Crab & Shrimp Seafood Bisque
Definitely a worthy seafood bisque.
Ingredients
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted each 10 3/4 ounces
- 1 can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted 10-3/4 ounces
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 4 green onions chopped
- ½ cup celery finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced, adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1-1/2 pounds shrimp uncooked medium , peeled and de veined
- 1 can crab meat 6 ounces, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
- 4 ½ ounces mushrooms sliced
- 3 tablespoons chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 can creamed corn 16 oz.
- 1 ½ teaspoons Tony's Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- ¼ cup white wine
- ¼ teaspoon hot pepper sauce optional
- green onions Thinly sliced for garish. optional
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese optional, garish
Instructions
- In a large Dutch oven, combine the ingredients, reserving shrimp, crab, and mushrooms, green onions, and Parmesan cheese. Bring to almost but short of a full boil. Reduce heat; add the remaining ingredients except the green onions and Parmesan cheese, if using. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Serve: Top with onions and Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Notes
Suggest using cast iron dutch oven.
Suggest serving with sour dough bread.

Great bisque. Not fishy nor too spicy.
